A long time ago, god Aion created a flourishing world: Atreia. He populated the world with humans and the creatures similar to dragons, the Draken, but the latter soon became greedy for power and renamed themselves the Balaur.
A conflict broke out for supremacy which ended in a cataclysm. The planet broke in two and Aion's light went out forever...
Two new races emerged from the ashes of Atreia: the bathed in light Elyos as well as the Asmodians, who found an ally in the darkness.
Both factions are entwined in a never-ending war against each other, one which can only have one winner. Will you be this winner?

AION is a free-to-play MMORPG built on the CryEngine and set in a fascinating fantasy world. The player takes on the role of a Daeva, a winged and immortal being of Aether, and must choose between two rival factions: the Asmodians, born to the darkness, or the Elyos, bathed in light. As scouts, warriors, mages, priests, engineers or artists, the Daevas wage war against one another in fiercely contested battles both on the land and in the air.
Atreia, the Daevas’ fascinating home world, is rife with danger, where players are confronted with thrilling quests and exciting PvE adventures. On their journey, players must face the terrifying Balaur, the Daevas’ dragon-like opponents, and their Dragon Lord Ereshkigal.
